H-E-B is renewing its cooperation with the ITA Chicago office in the implementation and execution of H-E-B’s yearly Italian themed promotions entitled “Ciao Italia”, bringing to its customers an even greater selection of the culinary excellence and tradition of “Authenticity Italian” food and wines.
The “Ciao Italia” 2017 promotion has been scheduled to take place in H-E-B’s 300 + locations in Texas, and 57 locations in northern Mexico from Sept. 27th through Oct.10th.
The success of this co-operation is confirmed by the rise in sales of Italian products, grown by 19% in the last four years in H-E-B outlets in Texas and even more in HEB’s stores in Mexico.
H-E-B is not only a favorite in its home State of Texas, the sole state in US where it operates, it also ranks highly among industry observers as well. Indeed, the San Antonio-based supermarket grocery chain prides itself of being one of the industry’s very best and most influential players, as it leads the way in transformative diversification by testing, learning, exploring and ultimately seizing new opportunities to meet consumers’ need and expectations.
H-E-B will continue to work closely with the Italian Trade Agency to enhance its customer’s awareness of “Authentic Italian” products during certain times of the year, by organizing “spot product categories promotions” featuring Italian cheeses, wines, holiday promotions, DOP and IGP products and more.
