Zest the oranges. Place the zest, the cinnamon stick, the cloves and lemon leaves in a container with the 4 cups of grain alcohol. Seal hermetically.
Allow to sit for 20-25 days, shaking the container from time to time.
Prepare a syrup by bringing the water to a boil and adding the sugar. Allow to cool. Filter the alcohol infusion from the zest and spices. Add the syrup. Let rest for another two months. |
