RIGATONI WITH MUSHROOMS AND PROSCIUTTO DI MODENA PDO

Try Rigatoni with Prosciutto di Modena PDO. The taste of this ham is savory but not salty, with a pleasant, sweet and intense fragrance.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound of Rigatoni Pasta
  • 1/2 pound of Prosciutto di Modena PDO
  • 7 oz porcini mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • 1 sprig of marjoram
  • 1 glass of Marsala wine
  • 4 Tbs extra virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper

DIRECTIONS:

Peel and cut the mushrooms into strips. In a pan, sauté the cloves of peeled garlic in olive oil, add the aromatic herbs, mushrooms, pepper, add the Marsala wine and let it evaporate. Cook for 15 minutes. Two minutes before the end of cooking, add the strips of Prosciutto di Modena PDO. In the meantime, boil the rigatoni in boiling salt water, drain and toss with the sauce.
