The Importance of Global National Accounts: Selling Italian Wines to National and International Chains

Tuesday January 27th - 10:00am - New York
The New York Palace Hotel, Henry Room
Thierry Pradines, the Director of Wine and Spirits for Restaurant Associates (RA), a division of Compass Group, NAD, has worked for RA for over 14 years. His primary responsibilities are product selections, program development, training supervision, legal issues management and all marketing initiatives.
Born and raised in Fronton, southwest France, where wine has been made since the thirteenth century, Thierry has been surrounded by wine experts his entire life. Since his family owns vineyards and makes wine, Thierry's knowledge comes from hands-on involvement in every aspect of the process. He furthered his expertise by graduating from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust - the most highly respected wine education program in the world.
Thierry Pradines has designed and taught numerous classes for restaurant industry professionals and has conducted private tastings for both professionals and consumers. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of and passion for wine and seeks to motivate others to expand their wine interests. One of the most enjoyable aspects of Thierry's job as Director of Wine and Spirits is conducting wine seminars for many of Restaurant Associate's Fortune 500 and cultural institution clients.
Thierry Pradines is also a regular guest on NBC 10!, the Philadelphia area's live daily lifestyle and entertainment morning show, hosting their Wine 101 segment. Based in New York, Pradines resides in Westchester County with his wife and young son. |
