DOC Map:     Region: Umbria
 
Varieties:
Types Rosso and Rosato: Sangiovese, 50-70%; Merlot, 10-30%; other local red varieties, up to 40%.
Type Bianco: Trebbiano, 50-70%; Grechetto, 10-30%; other local white varieties, up to 40%.
Varietal types: the blend proportions are always the same, variety indicated in the type name, 85%; other similar varieties admitted under the DOC law, 15%.
