Varieties:
Vine variety requirements for this appellation's area change according to type.
Type Rosso: Merlot, 60-80%; Cabernet franc and/or Cabernet sauvignon and/or Barbera and/or Raboso veronese, 20-40%.
Type Bianco: Garganega, 30-50%; Prosecco, 10-30%; Tocai Friulano and/or Sauvignon, 20-40%; Pinella and/or Chardonnay and/or Pinot bianco and/or Riesling italico, up to 20%.
Type Fior d'Arancio: Moscato giallo, 95%; other local white varieties, up to 5%.
Type Serprino: Prosecco, 90%; other local white varieties, up to 10%.
Type Moscato: Moscato bianco 95%; other local white varieties, up to 5%.
Other varietal types: the blend proportions are always the same, variety indicated in the type name, 90%; other similar varieties admitted under the DOC law, 10%.
