Types Rosso and Novello: Nero d'Avola and/or Perricone 50%; other local red varieties, up to 50%. Type Rosato and Spumante Rosato: Nerello Mascalese, 50%; other local red varieties, up to 50%. Type Dolce and Vendemmia Tardiva: Ansonica and/or Catarratto and/or Grecanico and/or Grillo and/or Chardonnay and/or Pinot bianco and/or Sauvignon, 100%. Varietal types: the blend proportions are always the same, variety indicated in the type name, 85%; other similar varieties admitted under the DOC law, 15%.
