Varieties:
Vine variety requirements for this appellation's area change according to type. Type Rosso: Cabernet, 20-50%; Merlot, 20-40%; Rondinella, 20-30%; Sangiovese and/or Molinara and/or Negrara trentina, up to 15%
Type Rosato: Merlot, up to 45%; Rondinella, up to 40%; Cabernet, up to 20%; Sangiovese and/or Molinara and/or Negrara trentina, up to 15%.
Type Bianco: Garganega, up to 35%; Trebbiano toscano and/or Trebbiano di Soave, up to 35%; Chardonnay, up to 15%; Sauvignon and/or Riesling renano and/or Riesling italico, up to 15%
Varietal types: the blend proportions are always the same, variety indicated in the type name, at least 85%; other similar varieties admitted under the DOC law, up to 15%.
