Types Rosso and Rosato: Negro Amaro, at least 50%; Malvasia nera di Lecce and/or Sangiovese and/or Montepulciano, up to 40%; other lcal red varieties, up to 30%. Type Bianco: Malvasia bianca, 50%; Bombino bianco, up to 40%; other local white varieties, up to 30% Varietal types: the blend proportions are always the same, variety indicated in the type name, 85%; other similar varieties admitted under the DOC law, 15%.
