Varieties:
Vine variety requirements for this appellation's area change according to type.
Type Bianco: Trebbiano toscano and/or Nosiola and/or Sauvignon and/or Garganega, 20-80%; Pinot bianco and/or Pinot grigio and/or Riesling italico and/or Chardonnay and/or Müller Thurgau, 20-80%.
Types Rosso and Rosato: Lambrusco a foglia frastagliata (Enantio) and/or Schiava 50-100%; Merlot and/or Pinot nero and/or Lagrein and/or Teroldego and/or Cabernet franc and/or Cabernet sauvignon, up to 50%.
Varietal types: the blend proportions are always the same, variety indicated in the type name, 85-100%; other local non aromatic varieties, up to 15%.
Type Terra dei Forti Rosso Superiore: Merlot and Lambrusco a foglia frastagliata (Enantio), 70-100% (Enantio, at least 30%); Cabernet franc and/or Cabernet sauvignon and/or Lagrein and/or Teroldego, up to 30%.
Varietal types: the blend proportions are always the same, variety indicated in the type name, 85-100%; other local non aromatic varieties, up to 15%.
