Varieties:
Type Bianco: Catarratto, 60-100%; other local white varieties, up to 40%.
Types Spumante sweet, Vendemmia Tardiva Zibibbo and Passito: Moscato di Alessandria or Zibibbo, 95-100%; other local white varieties, up to 5%.
Type Vendemmia Tardiva Sauvignon: Sauvignon, 95-100%; other local white varieties, up to 5%.
Type Passito: Moscato di Alessandria o Zibibbo, 95-100%; other local white varieties, up to 5%.
Type Moscato: Moscato di Alessandria, 95-100%; other local white varieties, up to 5%.
Type Spumante Brut: Chardonnay, 70-100%; other local white varieties, up to 30%.
Type Rosso: Calabrese o Nero d'Avola, 60-100%; other local red varieties, up to 40%.
Varietal types: the blend proportions are always the same, variety indicated in the type name, 85%; other similar varieties admitted under the DOC law, 15%.
